The Smik 50 Plus is a tilting frame designed specifically with the user in mind, and based on our decades of experience in specifying, supplying, fitting and servicing wheelchairs for Australians.  The Smik 50 plus is a heavy duty chair for adolescents and adults.

The 50 plus construction features a heavy duty modular frame with a low centre of gravity (for greater stability) which can provide a seamless operation of up to 50° posterior and up to 5° anterior tilt.  Seat depth can be increased up to 10 cm by simply sliding out the legrest extensions.  Width adjustment is possible via optional variations in width bars.  The 50 plus is available in  40, 45 and 50cm seat widths and seat depth to prescription.  
The 50 plus comes standard with 6”(150mm) wide soft roll castors and 16” (400mm) rear wheels fitted with solid tyres, 22” rear wheels are offered as a complimentary option.  An angle-adjustable stainless steel one piece push handle is also standard.

To ensure maximum comfort and useability, the 50 plus is offered as frame with a wide selection of standard options available on request including accessory backs and cushions, and if required, fully custom-built adaptive seating.
