The Hippo Car Seat is the only car seat specifically designed for transporting children in Hip Spica casts, Broomstick casts, and Ilfeld splints.

Every year thousands of infants and toddlers undergo surgery to correct hip and leg problems and must be casted for several weeks while recovering. The Hippo car seat is specifically designed to accommodate most casts and ensure that these fragile children can be transported securely restrained and protected from additional trauma.

Items included in the standard price are; seat cover, harness/buckle assembly, tether assembly, and TPE pads.

Can be used rear facing, in the reclined position for children with a casted weight up to 15kg. Forward facing reclined for casted weight up to 15kg. Forward facing upright for casted weight range of 15.5-19kg.
